About Us
Systel Development & Industries is a privately owned company founded in 1984 with the aim of developing more efficient power conversion products based on innovative digital control algorithm concepts. Since its establishment, Systel has succeeded in developing proven solutions with specifications unparalleled in the world market. In 1998 Systel launched its first configurable system on chip digital power controller for the lighting industry . Systel 's present core business is in the R&D, manufacturing and marketing of unique techniques for digital power management SOC devices, design tools and applications aimed at the entire power conversion industry.
Recently Systel launched its new low cost IDC2000 family of mixed-signal configurable SoC power controllers based on cutting edge universal architecture. This architecture, developed by Systel 's multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers, is the culmination of years of development to create a technology that overcomes the limitations of the current approaches in the market. This technology will revolutionize the power designers' approach, not only by dramatically decreasing the size, power and number of components but also by simplifying their development methods, dramatically shortening the time to market and allowing implementation of new, previously unattainable, cost-effective solutions. In addition, this technology provides unsurpassed, previously unobtainable performance and characteristics as demanded by the market. These IC controllers include all the functions required by the end-product as well as communication interfaces with a high performance embedded power line communication modem targeted for building automation.
Systel is a fabless semiconductor company, working with the world's major semiconductor foundries and packaging vendors to apply the most reliable, mass production methods for the manufacture of its products.
Systel puts a strong emphasis on technical support and its client services include development tools and customization of the controllers thus offering property solutions, as well as detailed reference design applications. In lighting the company is offering unique dimmable and non-dimmable ballast platforms, wall-control units and control communication protocols for its power line embedded modem.
