Introduction of New ESLS Capabilities at LIGHTFAIR 2009
Read the LFI09 Press Release and the invitation letter to Systel's booth #130.
Systel is committed to developing solutions to support world power conservation goals. Following this trend, and with an understanding that the resistance factors against adopting sustainable energy solutions mainly stem from the following economic and/or user comfort reasons:
- Heavy initial investment in
- The cost of hardware (networkable ballasts, sensors, wall controls, interfaces, etc.)
- The cost of installation
- The cost of commissioning
- High maintenance costs
- The lack of user friendly systems deriving from complexity of operation
- Lighting shutdown instead of dimming as in simple low cost energy savings solutions
Systel has developed unique functionality in its IDC2000 IC digital devices at extremely low cost, including embedded efficient power line communication interface, ballast topologies and commercial advantages control system applications to allow the lighting and HVAC industry to manufacture and deploy highly efficient smart control systems for commercial, residential and other buildings as well as for streetlights, which will effectively resolve the above factors of contention by providing:
- maximum attainable energy savings with
- unparalleled shortest ROI
- shared communication infrastructure for HVAC and lighting control
- low maintenance costs by extending lamp life with programmed start
- high featured control system enhancing user comfort
- simplicity of operation
