"At the Fair The Israeli electronics specialist Systel ( Hall4.0 Stand D92) will introduce a new Chip, which will revolutionize electronic control.
The IDC 2000 can be applied for the control of electronic ballasts or to control actuators and sensors for building automation technology and can control the power supply as well the required outbound communications.
The Chip can be built into a ballast (Compact), to control fluorescent lamps , HIT, LED and Neon applications. The IDC 2000 can control up to eight separate lamps from one ballast. This includes turning the lamps on and off and dimming them to up to 1%. One of the built-in capabilities of the Chip is a separate End of Life lamp testing supervisory function.
The Chip is programmable, allowing for any later changes and readjustments of the operating parameters, which means greater flexibility in the production and planning process. The chip also makes it possible to retrofit any installed Lighting System or Fixtures and also it is possible to reconfigure the chip at any later stage after the installation of the lighting system.
